TLC Women's Ministry
TLC Women's Ministry is a dynamic group of women with diverse backgrounds, life experiences and cultural basis from all corners of San Angelo and the surrounding area. Together we strengthen one another, build our community and empower women to become the person that God has called and destined them to become.
Career women, homemakers, community volunteers, retired or new mothers - are all a vital part of this ministry.
Director: Kat Rowoldt
Kathryn Rowoldt, nicknamed Kat, age 52, has a wealth of life experiences to draw upon for the benefit of this group. Kat has developed and owned several businesses over the years; from a printing and advertising business, to her own real estate office in Austin, Texas, to a cleaning business, to being the editor/publisher of a local Christian magazine in the mid 90's, to being the Communication Director with an Internet marketing company with over 250,000 members. She is still a licensed Real Estate Broker, though she is not actively engaged in the business at this time.
Kat has been on staff at TLC since 1997. She has served in the capacity of (over the years) at TLC: she started with doing the newsletters, communication director, couples retreat organizer, public relations, grant writer, special events coordinator, children's church director, photographer, church directory designer - and today handles Online Prayer Ministry, Online Connection Group leader, Prayer Request Email Alerts, Weekly TLC E-news and Communication Alerts, and now she adds Women's Ministry Director to that growing list.
Kat has been married to her fabulous husband, John Rowoldt II, for 12 years and together they have 4 daughters, 4 son-in-laws, 7 grandchildren and lots of fun figuring out how all that happened so fast!
TLC Women's Ministry Leaders: This awesome group is called the "P.H.D.s of TLC" - which stands for "Pure Hearted Disciples of The Living Christ."
Deb Brion
Deb arrived in San Angelo three years ago filled with the love of Jesus and ready to share it with others. She has a passion to assist others through challenging seasons in their lives while they discover the victory with Jesus.
Debbie Olive
Debbie has a deep desire to educate women on the importance of good nutrition for the whole family. Her passion for health was borne out of victorious fight against cancer.
JoAnn Landers
JoAnn is the wife of Pastor Walt Landers. She has a desire to see our young women transition from youth into a strong college ministry or young singles.
Karen Davis
Karen has the heart of a teacher. She has a heartfelt passion to teach women the Word of God and how to study the Word. Karen works with challenged adults.
Linda Fielding
Linda has a passion to help women learn how to love themselves and then release that love to others. God has powerfully impacted Linda's life and she seeks ways to share that love in a powerful way with others.
Michelle Calhoun
Michelle is the wife of Asst. Pastor Daniel Calhoun. She is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and also from ASU with a degree in Food & Nurtrition. She has a passion for organizing things: cabinets, gardens, etc.
Shannon Templin
Shannon is blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. She and her husband are passionate about the outdoors and love to share the great outdoors with their two young daughters. Personally, Shannon is passionate about the Word and how to apply it to our lives.
